You are bidding on a small fragment of the type and only known sample of roweite from the Franklin Mine. Roweite are the bladed crystals in the matrix. This is a fragment from the type sample housed at Rutgers University that was obtained through exchange by the American Museum of Natural History and then traded to Dave Cook at Harvard before ending up in the Steven Phillips collection of Franklin District rarities and micromounts. An extremely rare mineral from the mines!
