You are bidding on a large and incredible sample from the George Elling and Fred Parker collections (missing his label, but has his characteristic ID number). The sample of willemite/franklinite/calcite ore has a large vug hosting dozens of perfect, cherry red alleghanyite crystals with a large tetrahedron of white sphalerite, hundreds of tiny, orange tablets of hodgkinsonite, large secondary franklinite crystals, spindles of willemite, a few small barite crystals and even a few scattered brown rosettes of kraisslite. A very rich and fantastic Sterling Hill sample with a nice provenance.
