Description

You are bidding on a small sample with some extremely rare minerals for my home state of North Carolina. A rather rich area of white steverustite needles inhabit opne vuggy area on the specimen, with another small vug elsewhere hosting some tapering, tan (slightly iron-stained) bechererite crystals. There are also some dark blue balls that may be connellite, but these have not yet been analyzed. All this has grown in rotten, galena/bornite/sphalerite matrix. This is one of only about 5 known samples of bechererite from the locality.
