Description

You are bidding on an exceptional thumbnail from the Martin Jensen collection with beautiful botryoidal, pale blue zapatalite (carbonate-apatite on the label, these were recently analyzed to show zapatalite) clusters overgrowing scholzite. The zapatalite is sprinkled with minute crystals of chlorargyrite which is extremely rare at the locality. There are also some small bowties of kipushite present. Very rich and beautiful sample collected by Martin on July 18, 2012 and from his personal collection.
