Description

You are bidding on a large sample of Sterling Hill marble with numerous vugs hosting white spheres of this as yet undescribed, complex Zn, Mg, carbonate species showing radial structure when broken. Associated with fine needles of chlorophoenicite, hetaerolite and many unknowns, most interesting of which is a strange acicular species with an apparent epitaxial phase (photos 3 and 7). All this material will soon be studied to further define these phases. From the George Elling collection.
