You are bidding on a large and very rich sample of Sterling Hill marble with numerous vugs hosting white radial spheres of Mineral F, which is a as yet undescribed Mn, Zn, Mg carbonate species with needles of chlorophoenicite, prisms of calcite, rough crystals of franklinite and other unidentified species. Efforts may be under way soon to finally complete the description of this species. From the George Elling collection.
