Description

You are bidding on a very large and rich sample from the Ted Bartels collection. The calcite/franklinite/tephroite ore section hosts a very large clot of platy zincite that covers much of one face of the specimen. A small vug on the top of the specimen hosts some exceptional, sharp purplish tephroite crystals. A fracture surface on another side of the specimen hosts a druse of small alleghanyite crystals.
