You are bidding on an exceptionally rich specimen of several rare species from Sterling Hill. A large vug in a fracture surface hosts rich, dark red complex crystals of rare sonolite amongst hundreds of small barite prisms and small patches of scaly kraisslite crystals on a groundmass of tiny chlorophoenicite prisms. On one edge, and in several other areas of the specimen are some carmine red bladed allactite crystals. This is a very rich and complex specimen with lots to look at under the scope.
