Description

You are bidding on a small sample of the extremely rare new mineral juansilvaite. The mineral occurs here as patches of bright pink crystalline material lining a small fracture surface. Associated are very fine crystals of magnesiokoritnigite. Some of the darker pink crystal clusters are probably also juansilvaite and were exposed when trimming the specimen. Only high magnification can distinguish the two minerals by terminations of the crystals. Only a few known specimens of this mineral currently exist. From the original find and probed. Associated with arsenolite and other minerals.
