Description

You are bidding on an exceptional small cabinet specimen from the Foote Mine with very large fluorapatite crystals to 1.8cm with small patches of white fairfieldite crystals. This is an exceptional Foote Mine specimen and showcases beautiful color-zoned crystals (violet to yellow). The specimen was collected in the early 60s and shows no damage except to maybe a few of the tiny fairfieldite crystals. It is very hard to obtain specimens of this quality from the Foote Mine! The pegmatite seams didn't allow for large crystals too often.
