Description

You are bidding on a small sample of pegmatite hosting several vugs with white, hair-like crystals and sprays of the new mineral kayrobertsonite from the type locality. It is IMA 2015-029 and was very recently made public. It is the OH analogue of nordgauite and also is found at Hagendorf as very fine rinds of needles on nordgauite. The specimens from the Foote Mine are pure kayrobertsonite and on this specimen it is associated with tabular crystals of mangangordonite.
