Description

You are bidding on a really rare example of eakerite from the Foote Mine. This is a sample from Jack Eaker's original 1966 find of the mineral. The crystals from his orginal find are very characteristic in both habit and form, and much different than most other finds of the mineral. Tabular, fat eakerite crystals to 5mm! sit on albite with minor bavenite. Very few of these samples survived and were recently recovered when I dispersed his collection in 2022.
