Quartz (var: chalcedony) from famous Austrian mining location Hüttenberg. The qartz comes uppon a massive siderit matrix.

Because of it's nice color  - going more into purple instead of blue - specimens like this are also called "Hüttenberg amethyst".

A very nice example for this locality in good condition and no damages.
