Description

Intense green intergrown,well formed and lustrous viridine crystals partly embedded in white contrasting matrix. Viridine is the rare Mn variety of andalusite, known from few localities worldwide, mostly as massive aggregates. Crystallized specimens from Trikorfo are considered by collectors as the finest worldwide for the variety. Locality is now classic.
