Description

A rare and much desired mineral combination from this now classic locality for such material.Specimen shows a nice group of lead black bournonite crystals with minor golden pyrite nicely contrasting with intense pink rhodochrosite botryoidals.Minor quartz crystals are set on specimen. The difference of pink color is probably due to iron oxide present as film on part of specimen (can be easily removed but it gives a nice darker pink color tone to rhodochrosite). Fine old time and undamaged material from a private collection
