Description

Very fine specimen of the rarest garnet type from this now closed for collecting locality.Crystals are sharp with fine luster and show characteristic dark brown to black line on edges that contrast nicely with light brown crystal's planes.Andradite crystals are partly covered by semi transparent to transparent quartz.Hedenbergite matrix is sawn at base. A hard to fine nowdays Greek classic especially in such quality.
