Description

Erazoite (IMA 2014-061) is a new copper tin sulfide structurally related to covellite, it occurs as tiny black roundish crystal aggregates enclosed in baryte crystals. The specimen has been cut and those grains can be clearly seen and those embedded in baryte and uncut. The baryte crystals are covered by perfectly crystallised olivenite and earthy preisingerite. Preisingerite is also visible as phantoms in baryte.

Very rare material!
