Description

Small specimen of that classic location in the austrian alps. This location is probably the origin for the best austrian garnets concerning its quality. Enormous lostrous and sharp edged with a dark intense red color. Pieces from there are the rarities on the market. For a longer time new finds were not made. This specimen comes from a find about 40 years ago. The luster of this hessonite reminds on polished metal. Hard to describe. Has to be watched in reallity.
