Blue-cap elbaite from Stak Nala with transition through yellow, pink and green tourmaline. The crystal is made of many parallel transparent pillars that merge into trigonal termination with deep crevices due to intergrown albite crystals. the main part of the crystal is dark green, encrusted in a thin layer of some late mineral that fluoresces lemon yellow under UV light (see the last image in the series). At the contact of albite at the mid of the crystal there is a forest of tiny needles of some transparent mineral, reminiscent of quartz. A fine specimen of polychromatic tourmaline.
