Description

A mass of deep honey amber lustrous intermeshed fluorite crystals with stepped faces formed in a banded vein.

Very sharp and bright piece for the locality, very minor nicks and one small patch where the lustre is not so good.

The specimen fluoresces a medium mustard yellow colour - this is the only known Derbyshire location where the fluorite does fluoresce.

Very nice specimen indeed!
