This month is a very important month for ThamesValleyMinerals, it sees the arrival of my wife Christian as full time partner in the running of the business, we are relocating our business to new premises and relaunching our website with new facilities on new faster servers.
The amount of change to the way we work is quite signifant and has taken several months of planning to get this far!

Christian who has been a partner in the business from the start is making the leap to work in the business full time. This will really bolster up the administration and organisation of the business and enable us to cope with the volume of orders that are coming in.
Our new premises has dedicated office, warehouse and preparation space - anyone who has visited us here in Reading will know the problems we have faced to date and it will be great to form a separation between home and business again
The website changes are part of a long term programme we have running with our developers to continually improve our website and the way we operate. The main changes happening this month are the moving of the website onto faster servers to allow faster access and download.
We are also implementing secure access servers and a whole new payments system - all customers will soon be able to select payment method and make secure payment directly to Paypal, Credit Card etc.
We are also be implementing an integration with EBay - allowing us to automatically transfer items to sell on Ebay. We will shortly restart our weekly listings on EBay to complement the auctions currently running on Mineral-Auctions.
All this change has required a fair amount of time out from TVM and we have had to reduce our regular listings of specimens. We of course will be renewing this very soon with the usual frequent lists of new minerals we have acquired.
In the meantime we will continue to offer selected items through Mneral-Auctions.com. Of course all sales via auctions and website will be despatched promptly as and when they come in.
Our moving date is set for 12th August and packing is seriously under way.
