Every alpine collector's dream (and most other people too) is to find the perfect pocket.
Austrian Strahler Peter Eberhard has been busy on the Alps at Habachtal.
Earlier this month Peter was investigating a previously worked opening high up in the glacier when he encountered something very special. In Peter's own words :-
"I found the pocket one week ago but could not reach the crystals so I bought new working tools and with these I could get them out.
Other collectors didn't see that at the end of the pocket there was a 2cm small black hole and this was the main pocket. So I was very lucky to find this and more lucky that the crystals were undamaged because they fall from the ceiling long time ago. Perfect trip."

Peter "Very very nervous. I was one hour faster up there than last week".
